This Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy governs the conditions applicable to the sale of products marketed by BIO-CRATES, including, but not limited to, plastic crates, mesh trays, accessories, and any other products supplied by the company. This policy applies exclusively to business customers (B2B) and not to end consumers.

Section I

Scope of application

The products marketed by BIO-CRATES are intended exclusively for companies, professionals, agricultural and food-processing operations, distributors, retailers, logistics operators, and other economic operators acting within the scope of their business or professional activities.

No sales are made to end consumers. By placing an order, the customer fully accepts these terms and conditions.

Section II

Receipt and acceptance of goods

The customer must inspect the goods immediately upon receipt.

Any visible transport damage, shortages, missing items, or delivery errors must be reported in writing to BIO-CRATES within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the order.

The claim must be accompanied by photographs clearly showing the issue.

If no claim is submitted within this period, the goods shall be deemed accepted and compliant with the order.

Section III

Return policy

Due to the technical and professional nature of the products supplied, returns will not be accepted unless expressly authorized in writing by BIO-CRATES.

Requests for return must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days following receipt of the order.

Approval or rejection of any return request shall be assessed by BIO-CRATES on a case-by-case basis.

If a return is authorized

Section IV

Products not eligible for return

Returns will not be accepted for:

Custom orders: Crates manufactured with corporate colour and/or logo are produced to order. Once a customised order is confirmed, it is considered a final sale and is not eligible for return, except in case of a verified manufacturing defect.

Section V

Hygiene and product integrity

For reasons of hygiene, traceability, and prevention of cross-contamination, BIO-CRATES will not accept the return of any product that has been used in food storage, processing, transportation, or any operational process within the customer's business.

This restriction applies even if the product appears to be in good physical condition.

Section VI

Manufacturing defects

If a manufacturing defect is detected, the customer must notify BIO-CRATES in writing as soon as reasonably possible after discovery, and in any case within 48 hours of detection.

The notification must include:

BIO-CRATES reserves the right to request additional information or a physical inspection of the product before issuing a decision.

Section VII

Warranty

BIO-CRATES warrants that its products have been manufactured in accordance with their technical specifications and quality standards.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and is valid for six (6) months from the date of delivery.

1. Coverage

Section VIII

Refunds

Where a refund is applicable, it shall be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase or by bank transfer agreed between the parties.

Refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) calendar days following approval of the claim or receipt of the returned products, as applicable.

Section IX

Limitation of liability

The total liability of BIO-CRATES shall, in all cases, be limited to the value of the products subject to the claim.

BIO-CRATES shall not be liable for:

Section X

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to logistical, production, or force majeure circumstances.

Delays in delivery shall not entitle the customer to compensation or automatic cancellation of the order.

Responsibility for the goods shall pass according to the transportation terms agreed for each transaction.

Reusable transport packaging (pallets, transit crates) remains the property of BIO-CRATES unless otherwise expressly agreed. Any additional costs arising after the agreement — such as transport, duties, taxes, or other charges — shall be borne by the customer.
